Wednesday 23 November 2011 City of LondonCharles River Associates (CRA) was commissioned by the City of
London and the International Regulatory Strategy Group (IRSG) to
consider the strategic implications of
the new regulatory architecture within the EU and the UK.
The report follows on from previous work examining examples in the financial services sector where UK regulation is super-equivalent to European directives. Where the first
report looked at historic examples of super-equivalence, this report considers how the issue of super-equivalence could develop under the new regulatory structures.
