Sales Director – Enterprise and Strategic Market France

An accomplished and certified IT Security Architect with a proven track record in completing highly complex enterprise-wide technical security installations across France, Suisse and Luxembourg. 

Julien commenced his career for Orange Business Services in Rennes, France in 1999 as a security engineer on their internship program focusing on advanced security projects such as intrusion detection for high speed internet platforms. 

Moving to Telindus in 2001 as a Project Leader and Security Expert, Julien managed customer projects to ensure success with the right planning and within budget parameters.  Furthering his technical ability with Level 3 security expertise along with supporting field teams and customer support centers Julien was promoted to Pre-Sales Manager for Telindus BELGACOM in 2005.

Julien joined ExaProbe in 2007 as Security Solution Manager and Associate Partner responsible for the entire security portfolio consisting of numerous vendors such as; Bluelane, Google, Palo Alto, Varonis, Cisco, Juniper and Check Point. Also responsible for building a strong pre-sales team to support customer installations and further the success of ExaProbe strategically.

Julien was recruited by Varonis Systems in 2010 joining as European Sales Engineer and in January 2011 took the key position of Sales Manager for France, Suisse and Luxembourg. Julien brings a wealth of expertise from multi-vendor security projects including identity management solutions, VPNs and Firewall installations as well as intrusion prevention.  Over Julien’s career he has managed many projects solving PCI Compliance and regulatory issues and has a great deal of experience in managing/deploying Governance and Risk solutions for enterprise organisations within many sectors.

Julien qualified at INSA LYON in Telecommunications in September 1996 and furthered his education at Stafford University in Computer Sciences in 2000.
