Anastasia Sotiropoulou is Agrégée des Facultés de Droit and Professor of Private Law at the University of Orleans. Before joining the University of Orleans, she held the position of Professor at the University of Saint-Etienne and of Senior Lecturer at the University Paris 1- Panthéon Sorbonne.

She holds a doctorate in Law from the University Paris 1-Panthéon Sorbonne and the University of Luxembourg. She is co-author of the book EU Banking and Financial Regulation (Edward Elgar Publishing, 2024).

She teaches Financial, Banking and Corporate Law and publishes extensively in these fields in France and abroad.
