Louis has +10 year of working experience at Magic Circle law firms (Clifford Chance, Linklaters and Freshfields) and major financial institutions (BNP Paribas and Caisse des dépôts et consignations) advising financial institutions an FinTech on a wide range of financial services regulatory issues.

Louis client base is notably composed of credit institutions, payment institutions, insurance undertakings, investment firms, asset managers, crypto-assets services providers and banking and insurance intermediaries.

More specifically, Louis expertise includes (i) advising clients on regulatory issues such as licensing, governance, conduct of business, marketing and provision of services, (ii) advising on the regulatory aspects of transactions involving financial institutions (i.e., “FIG M&A”) which comprises creation and licensing of institutions, change in control and transfer of activities and (iii) assisting financial institutions as part of investigations conducted by and/or disciplinary proceedings before the French regulatory authority ACPR.
