M. Carmine DI NOIA
Carmine Di Noia is the Director for Financial and Enterprise Affairs at the OECD since 2022. Previously, he was Commissioner of the Italian Securities and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) from 2016, alternate member of the IOSCO Board and ESMA Board of Supervisors, chair of ESMA's CEMA and Post-Trading Standing Committee, and vice chair of the OECD Corporate Governance Committee. He served as Deputy Director General at Assonime, board member of the Italian Stock Exchange, chairman of EuropeanIssuers' Policy Committee, and head of the Italian Corporate Governance Committee's technical secretariat. He was part of various European Commission working groups, including ESME, CESAME, and the Securities Expert Group on FSAP. He is a Full Professor of Financial Markets and Banking at Luiss University in Rome, holding a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctorate from Tor Vergata University.
